Many of you who know me personally know that I have an *affinity* (translate that: "sick, obsessive addiction") to coffee....and especially to Starbucks. I attribute that to being a mother and a small business owner, so I consider my caffeine addiction justified...if somewhat pathetic!
So....my wonderful husband took me out for dinner last night and after we finished, we stopped at Starbucks for "dessert"! =) Seeing as how it was after 6pm, I asked for VENTI DECAF latte, but the young girl behind the counter was waiting on me, as well as the person behind me and the car in the drive-through, so my request got lost in the jumble of orders. Unfortunatly, I didn't realize that until about midnight, when I sill had the energy to run a marathon! (oh if only Starbucks could also impart physical stamina!) I am thoroughly convinced that Starbucks should choose a mom/small business owner to be their spokeperson....please let them know that I am available! =)
I've been thinking too that my blog is not necessarily to advertise my work...that's kind of pointless because I have a website and you're all welcome to check it out. My blog is so you can get to know me. It's important that you know who is taking your pictures - these are the images you'll have 50 years from now, and you want to be remembered the way you are - not the way that JC Pennies' Studio posed you. I am not Pennies, nor Olan Mills....and I will pose you as little as possible...because that's just me. any way - I divert. So here is my plan....I'm still aiming at blogging on Tuesdays and I am hoping to increase my blogging frequency (I'm all about baby steps...) and each time I blog, I will share something about me...my life... my kids....my recent projects....something to give you a glimpse at me. So for today, I leave you with this...I have found my latest part time job, and I would love to do this once I retire....!!
